  • The Human Centred Work Summit is not a traditional conference. Each of our speakers and panelists are intended to be 'sparklers' - experts with innovative ideas that spark conversation on the topic of 'What does it mean to be human?.' Through inspired dialogue we want to energize a community of leaders to take action in their organizations and with their clients. We don't just want people to attend, we want people to transform and drive innovation in their sphere of influence. After the summit, Haesun and Louisa are inviting you to join their Human Centred Work Collective where the ideas from the summit can come to life.

  • The summit agenda is designed to encourage participation by all attending and equip everyone with the tools they need to take action to increase human thriving at work. Haesun and Louisa have determined certain characteristics of what it means to be human at work and they are inviting you to join in this inaugural summit where you will challenge their ideas and engage in dialogue that expands our notion of what it means to be human at work. The speakers and panelists are experts in their field and will spark interesting conversation for all attendees. Summit organizers will take the ideas and actions and share with all attendees. Following the summit, Haesun and Louisa invite everyone to join them in their continued work together to increase human thriving through their Human Centred Work Collective.

  • A World Café is a structured conversational process that fosters collaborative dialogue, allowing participants to explore meaningful questions and share insights. Through multiple rounds of discussion and movement between tables, it harnesses the collective wisdom and creativity of participants. This method ultimately aims to generate new ideas and solutions for real-world challenges. Harvesting in a World Café refers to the process of collecting and sharing the collective knowledge and insights generated during the conversations with all participants after the summit.

  • All Human Resource professionals, Organizational Development specialists, Well-being leaders in corporations or in education, Learning & Development Specialists, Talent Acquisition, Health and Safety Advisors, Psychological health & Safety advisors and any leader that is interested in increasing the well-being and mental health of the people who work in their organizations.

  • The summit will offer human perspectives on leadership, organizational culture, performance, mental health and well-being and other topics relevant to human thriving. It will provide knowledge and practical tools that can be implemented in the workplace to improve employee well-being and engagement and reduce mental health hazards. This summit will also allow you to meet like-minded individuals so that you can continue to have support for the initiatives in your organization.

It will provide knowledge and practical tools that can be implemented in the workplace to improve employee well-being and engagement and reduce mental health hazards. If you want to expand your skills and knowledge and learn from other like-minded individuals to enrich the good work you are already doing with your clients, the summit will help you.

  • The Human Centred Work Collective is a coaching program and learning community of like-minded professionals who will come together twice a month for 6 months to learn new strategies and tools, gain insights, and participate in peer-to-peer learning to foster a truly human-centred work environment. The Collective is led and facilitated by Louisa Jewell, founder of the Canadian Positive Psychology Association, and Dr. Haesun Moon, founder of the Canadian Centre for Brief Coaching. Louisa and Haesun will share their deep knowledge in practices that promote wellbeing in the workplace, solution-focused and positive psychology-based techniques, and human learning practices.   • We will have a light continental breakfast with tea/coffee and hot buffet lunch provided. When registering, please let us know if you have any food restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate you.

  • Elmsley Hall is completely accessible but please let us know if there are accommodations that will help you and we will do our best to ensure you are taken care of.

  • If a registrant is unable to attend the summit for any reason, they may substitute, by arrangement with the Human Centred Work Summit, someone else to attend in their place. Where the registrant is unable to attend, and is not in a position to transfer his/her place to another person, then the following refund arrangements apply:

    • Registrations cancelled more than 30 days before the event are eligible for a 50% refund of the registration fees paid.

    • Registrations cancelled less than 30 days before the event are no longer eligible for a refund.
